TGIF in Philly my friends! I’m sure it was a long week for all of you, but it is finally over. And what better way is there to celebrate then going to see some of our favorite local bands do what they do best: play!

August 21:
The New Divide, an alternative rock band with some unique vocal work by Ray Ray Pine, are playing St. Pauls in Levittown. The show starts at 8 p.m. and for $8.00 a ticket you can see them along with these guys. Check out what’s going on the rest of this weekend after the break.

August 22:
If you’re looking to chill out to some trippy tunes on Saturday, Stellium is playing the Red Stallion in Warminster with Groove Train Riders and Deadbolt. The trip show begins at 8 p.m. and is free, but unfortunately the Red Stallion is a bar venue so we can assume this is a 21+ show. Sorry, young ones (being of age rocks!).

August 23:
Our old friend Nancy Micciulla is playing the Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia event down at the Rotunda on Walnut Street if you’re interested in some relaxing acoustic tunes with strong vocals. The event will be free, but do check out the crafts for sale!
Remember, if you are a band or know one who would like to be featured in our concert previews, tip us off either on our Mypsace, Facebook group, or at philanthem@gmail.com. Also, if you want to see our posts as soon as they happen, subscribe to the Philanthem Twitter feed. Thanks everyone!
